A Small Repair

I needed a small repair on our oven and when I reported it, D&G passed the repair job to a local electrical firm. That firm confirmed the task and gave us a date for the visit. Sadly, on that day, we received a call from the engineer who had just had an accident and would have to go straight to hospital. Sadly, we then waited several days before we were given a new date which was several more days in the future. However, when the engineer did arrive, he very quickly solved the problem very satisfactorily.

Tumble drier repair, drum not rotating.

Excellent. The engineer arrived in good time. He clearly knew what he was doing and with our information he made a correct anticipation of the fault. Repaired in good time. Very happy.

Altogether a Great Service

It was really easy to report the fault on our tumble dryer, and to arrange an engineer's visit. The appointment was only a couple of days later too. When they visited the quickly identified the dryer was a 'write off' and within hours I had an email to choose a replacement!! Delivery of that was within a couple of days too. At every stage of the process I was kept up to date. Altogether a great service

Very Impressed

Very impressed. The manufacturer of my washing machine (Beko: boooooo) wouldn't take responsibility for a fault that occurred 6 weeks into its tenure. TV Repair

I accidentally knocked my TV over while dusting behind it. I requested a repair online through my Domestic & General Policy (which was very easy). Almost Immediately I received a reply that a engineer had been booked to visit my home. Within 2 days my TV was looked at and taken away to be fixed. I have just been contacted that the TV will be back with me tomorrow after just one week, which included the ordering of a new screen. Most impressed with Domestic & General.

Clever Engineer

The very clever engineer brought the right part for my fridge/freezer because he ascertained what might be wrong from reading my account of what was wrong with my Fridge/freezer when I made the appointment. New TV

after an initial repair, where Toshiba sent a reconditioned part for my tv & it failed after just 10 days, reporting a new repair & the tv written off it took less than 12hrs for Domestic & General to supply me options for a new tv, which was delivered the next day....

Washing Machine Repair

Domestic and Generals service has improved considerably over the years. When I was passed over to complaints after waiting a disappointing 16 days for my washing machine to be repaired, Chloe the staff member from Domestic and General, did not hesitate to get things sorted. After she checked and found that the part that was ordered to repair my washing machine was still out of stock, she did not hesitate and gave me the offer of a new machine. That's what I call service.

Very Satisfied with Service!

Cannot understand the negative feedback. I have had a stress free experience! Call handler was great, friendly and understood my situation was difficult, esculated onto Ruth who is superb and called me same day. Engeneer also very friendly! Lamona Dishwasher

3, 10 and 17 March engineer visited with new parts trying to fix. Unfortunately, with no success after final visit, couldn't be fixed. Great Customer Service

The man on phone was brilliant who I spoke to , went and spoke to the manager , didn’t leave me on hold said he would call me back . He called me back after 5 mins and solved my problem straight away for me . Made it so much easier .
