I have had the pleasure of using Davide for over 18 months. My mare had lost all confidence in farriers. She was still being difficult after major surgery for an ovarian tumour. She still associated farriers to pain & was very reluctant to let a farrier anywhere near her let alone lift her back legs. She still wanted to kick out. I explained the problem to Davide & he worked out a strategy to re-educate her brain along with some physical exercises for me to do with her between shoeing. He was patient, kind & always re-assuring the horse, and took his time. He explained to me what i needed to do & why. Over the months she greatly improved. Now we have shoes on & a happy horse. No more misbehaving. Davide is reliable & a good communicator. If he's going to be late or early he messages. If you have an emergency he will always try to pull you into his day. I have someone that understands my horse. She was not a stroppy mare she was very ill. I wish i had found him sooner.

Davide has shod and trimmed my horses and ponies for over 10 years now. He has done everything from basic trims to time-consuming remedial work, making a huge difference to their feet and way of going. Very patient with young, nervous or difficult horses.

I am writing this review as I recently moved to the area and contacted Davide. I just wanted to comment on how wonderful Davide has been with my horse. My girl can be difficult at times and has suffered with poor quality feet. Davide has been really patient and gone the extra mile to bond with her and I’m really pleased with her transformed feet

Our horse became lame and our veterinary practice at that time diagnosed he was beyond correction and recommended euthanasia. This was totally unacceptable by us. In 2011 we located a Clinical remedial equine centre where his lameness was examined by both a specialist veterinary surgeon and farrier.They gave a recommendation for remedial shoeing.Davide took over the remedial care using a comparatively new American technique.This was applied for 11months.A very high standard of correction was achieved.Routine shoeing followed very successfully.Davide has maintained the condition of our horses and has also well maintained soundness ever since.This has allowed our horse to continue competing in Dressage at advanced medium level very successfully. He is dedicated to his work having unique understanding of horses. He has a very professional attitude.We have great pleasure in recommending his farriery service and his knowledge and ability in remedial care.It is indeed excellent.
