Digits in Motion

I had a really positive, straight-forward experience with Michael at Digits In Motion. He was really great from the get-go - friendly, efficient and professional. He digitized 49 of our family childhood videos, which were on Hi8 tapes and VHS tapes. We’ve all thoroughly enjoyed watching them all on the links Michael sent us via email and he also sent everything on a USB stick to my parents. Highly recommend Michael to digitize your tapes!

One cassette digitised, another went missing. Unbelievable. Fine if you can take the risk, but the historic tape of my wife's sister playing a piano concerto is lost forever. We were sent some thudding dub music instead. Just issued with a refund, which we had to ask for. He loses your tape then tells you how his repair guy has let him down. Irresponsible and unprofessional.

I usually NEVER leave bad reviews and tend to see the good in business owners before i see the flaws, but from the beginning dealing with Michael, was not pleasant at all.

Firstly, he’s customer service was not vivid at all, was not informative and did not care to have communication with me during my procedure of having my tapes digitised by him. I had to chase him regularly to get updates about my tapes otherwise he would have never had initiative to do so.

Secondly, he’s turnover times are not as promised, I gave him 4 tapes he said he would have them done by a week, he had them done by 2. And sent back my tapes after A MONTH! I had paid once he had shown a clip of confirmation he had completed it but had paid for a weeks turnover, he didn’t discount for giving them back late or offer a reservice. Which was a shame.

Overall, to anyone seeing this, if you wish to get your tapes digitised I highly wouldn’t recommend this service.
