Computers 4 Africa is a social enterprise charity founded in 2005. Our aim to provide opportunities for the poor and those otherwise excluded from access to ICT education and training. In January 2011, C4A merged with Digital Pipeline, a registered charity that was originally set up as a Microsoft funded project.

Most of us don't know what to do with our old IT when we are finished with it. Re-use, reduce, recycle is the green mantra but how do schools, businesses, or individuals manage this? Computers 4 Africa is a simple solution to the WEEE problem. We collect unwanted PC's, refurbish and datawipe them before sending them out to schools, colleges and projects across Africa. The computers will be used to equip African children with life changing IT skills. Later in life these skills can increase career opportunities which can break the poverty cycle.
