Dial West Cheshire

The DIAL West Cheshire Shopmobility Service, conveniently located in the Kaleyards (blue-badge) car park off Frodsham Street in Chester city centre, provides daily hire of mobility scooters and wheelchairs to enable people with mobility difficulties to access city centre shops and facilities.

We offer the long term loan of wheelchairs at a weekly rate of £10. Mobility aids and disability equipment are also available for sale. Let us look after the servicing or repair of your own equipment at competitive prices.

Together with our Shopmobility West Cheshire partners (DICE Ltd in Ellesmere Port and Vale Royal Disability Services in Northwich and Winsford) we offer a membership scheme for regular Shopmobility customers or alternative charges for visitors, enabling use of shopmobility services at four locations across the Cheshire West and Chester area.

• Advice & Information – with a focus on welfare benefits and disability rights

• Community Café – serving healthy, home-cooked food at affordable prices

• Shopmobility – daily hire of mobility scooters and wheelchairs to enable access to city centre shops and facilities. Offers a range of mobility and disability aids for sale and a repairs and maintenance service for mobility aids

• Volunteer scheme – developing people from the community to help others within the community with opportunities for training and development.
