Devonshire Pharmacy

I phoned from Scotland at 9pm this evening for advice. I am a pensioner and took my paracetamol tablets too early, only three and a half hours instead of at least four after my last dose. I couldn’t contact 111 and was very worried. The pharmacist who answered my call was lovely and very helpful. He explained everything to me and put my mind at rest. Thank you so much.

The facts: went today to the pharmacy as I was after a specific item. Tried to enter the premises while pushing a children´s pram: I realized the shop keeper saw me struggling but was unwilling to help me. I have politely placed a question but could not answer and was very dismissive of me. Asked for the payment receipt to be handed to me and refused to do so I had to insist but was unable to obtain it. Laughed with her colleague at me while I was leaving. I will never come back. Very nasty, client unfriendly and rude person.

The owner is downright rude, offensive and high-strung. He is very unprofessional. I tried to return an item I had bought with the receipt still in the bag and the package intact. Without any reason, he refused and insisted that he would allow me to have a credit note. When I asked why, he started pointing started pointing his finger, raising his voice and kept referring to his kind heartedness.

First time I have visited Devonshire Pharmacy and was very pleased with the service I received.
Staff were all very pleasant. At first I did not know there was a pharmacy downstairs but when I went down and purchased some medicines, the Pharmacist took time to explain everything to me.
