Business overview

I run a domestic appliance sales and service business and provide customer backup for the products we sell and maintain. I started my business in 1979 and have good support from my existing customers but always welcome new ones . I started mainly doing washing machine repairs and the sales and service have developed from there. I am an agent for the sales of SIEMENS quality domestic appliances but also sell many other makes which can be serviced and repaired if necessary.

My shop is on the corner of Bodmin Street and Croft Road and there is a loading bay on the Croft road side, so it is possible for customers to park to collect goods although for larger items we deliver free within a twenty mile radius.

You can phone between 9-1 and 2-5.30 weekdays and Saturday mornings. You can also email or contact via the website.

How wonderful it was for me to find this store. This lovely local business run by the owner has a great small team of staff who go out of their way to help you. The owner has exceptional product knowledge and offers fair pricing for all items he has on sale. Anyone reading this will probably agree that buying items these days, whether its a laptop or a hosepipe, is a nightmare...... as there is often never anyone available in the store who has the knowledge and experience to really help out. When I contacted this shop, I was calling from Barnstaple. I only wanted a small item (a drain plug for my old washing machine). The owner, Derek, was able to instantly source this small part, which saved me having to buy a new washing machine! The item was posted to me within 24 hours so I was able to use the machine fairly quickly. Thank you so much for providing a great local business ...your knowledge and experience puts the big players back in the playpen!!
