Dearalva Counselling Service

My name is Alva Spencer, I am the director of dearalva the Psychological therapy and counselling service. I am currently based in the Greater Manchester area as a therapist and was born and raised in the city of Wolverhampton. I completed my Clinical and Pastoral Counselling Skills course at Glasgow Caledonian University. I am also registed member of the BACP.

Over the last 20 years, I have developed a unique combination of interpersonal psychoanalysis, mind, body stimulation and cognitive behavioural techniques, which helps me to diagnose my clients in a elaborated manner.

In my experience, I have worked with hundreds of clients from all walks of life, which has provided with a deep insight and practical view of the problems that people are facing in these contemporary times, with regards to their professional and personal life. Whether it is depression due to lack of respect and recognition at work, death of close family member, emotional distress due to separation, addiction, hypersensitivity, obsessive compulsive disorder, hyperactivity, sex addiction, loss of job, phobias or just any other issues that is affecting your mental health negatively

My approach towards treating my clients is a combination of counselling, cbt and complimentary therapy which collectively helps in bringing that much needed mental and physical balance, irrespective of what kind of psychological issues you are facing. I aim to revive my clients from the current positions in their lives, and channelizing their negative energy to its way out in a well coordinated manner. It helps bring in the much needed harmony in their lives.
