Dayman's DIY is a family run business with a reputation for integrity, quality craftsmanship and excellent customer focus and who have been established within the community for 93 years.

Founded by William Edward Dayman in 1928 and being located initially at 77 King Richards Road, Leicester but relocating just a little further up the road in 1974 to 103-105 King Richard Road where we are still located today. The company is now in enjoying the third generation (Steve) and fourth generation (Adam) of Dayman's to take the helm.

Daymans offer all of your DIY needs including, Timber, Tools, Plumbing, Electrical, Painting & Decorating, Building Materials, Garden & Outdoor and much more.

We offer a bespoke wood cutting service and make many of our items in store by hand.

Fast delivery

Ordered some wood today on website and the order was delivered within 3 hours. I was totally surprised when the van driver knocked the door. Pleasant driver as well. Fantastic service

Great service at Daymans

Took delivery of five fence panels on Tuesday 1st August 2020 very polite and helpful at shop and also the delivery man swift service all the way recommend to everyone

We need to keep great stores like this !

I love this DIY store ,it's got everything the big stores don't have .:Great customer service ( they actually remember your name !!) ,They really do know what they are talking about ,Their wood is of better quality( less warping and splits ) than the big DIY stores and they cut it free for you .100%
