Dave the Tiler

Absolutely awful job in my mother's kitchen. Said he'd come back to sort but never did. Yes, of course I paid him in full beforehand as I live some distance from the job and trusted him. Never again.

Used Dave to get my bathroom floor
done, he was polite and at first I thought he did a good job. Later realised he has put 2 of the coloured tiles the wrong way around, I also noticed he has left a big limp of grout near the toilet which I am unable to reach to remove. Since then I have been trying to get him back over to fix the tiles and secure the sink (. Which we pre arranged and which I had paid for) I can barely get a response of him, let alone get him to fix my bathroom floor. Wouldn't recommend using this bloke.

Did some work for me now having to pay another tiler repair the shoddy work carried out by this specialist tiler. Keep well away

I had Dave come and tile my kitchen,I was impressed with his website and I thought that’s the person I want.when he arrived on the day,he brought some single edged plastic stop bead to use on the top edge to do away with having to grout i liked that idea as it would make the top edge clean and sharp, unfortunately ,he used the same stop beading for the corners and all the corners which it’s not meant to be used for as you can’t get the tiles equally behind each side, some are in front and some be hind,some tiles are round the wrong way so you have a rough cut edge against the finished edge one,s so the joints are wider and with a sharp ragged edge at front,he did,not mitre any of them just butt.michael jointed,on the corner he just left a rough cut edge,telling me he had,not got enough beading to do it but still charged me £260 for the work,he did provide the fatal edging strips and adhesive and grout,I had to finish the grouting off.dissapointed would never use again,

Just had kitchen and bathroom updated with fresh tiling. Great job completed by Dave ! Very flexible on design and hours/days worked. Great finished result.
