Dave has been teaching the guitar for seven years, but has been playing for thirty. Based in Ashton, Preston he runs a small and successful private teaching practice that covers a wide range of musical tastes and styles. From Blues to Rock, from Folk to Country and Acoustic to Electric guitar - all styles and abilities are catered for.

If you are a total beginner or a more advanced player looking for challenging new material then you will find Dave professional, patient and his relaxed style of teaching ideal.

Dave is fully CRB checked and also teaches the Guitar and Ukulele in Schools. It doesn’t matter what age you are, it's never too late to start playing the guitar.

Each individual lesson is tailored to reaching your musical goals.

Dave has played alongside Kris Kristofferson, The Kinks, Steve Hackett, Michael Chapman, John Martyn, Bert Jansch, John Renbourn and other guitar greats.
