After working as as a partner in a firm of electrical contractors for 35 years Martin Rainsford decided that the time was right to form a new company and Darwin Electrical was born in February 2014

Three of the employees from the old company also left to join me thus forming an experienced and skilled workforce who can handle many of your electrical requirements. We mainly deal with commercial and industrial work but are happy to carry out domestic work as required.

Our scope of work includes

Office maintenance and refurbishments

Factory maintenance

Electrical inspection and test reports

Lighting installations and repairs.

Outside lighting and carpark lampost installations and repairs

Fire Alarm and emergency lighting installations and testing.

We have full membership of the NICEIC and we pride ourselves on providing a professional, speedy and courteous service at all times whilst maintaining the highest quality of work

Excellent quality of work, professional, punctual, efficient, tidy, & competitively priced. Fitted external lights, loft light, garage, bathroom & mirror lights to a very high standard. I have no hesitation in recommending Darwin Electrical.

I found Darwin Electrical by chance and given the problems I encountered with a very highly rated 'trust a trader' electrician decided to give them a go. The owner's son and another electrician came to do the work, they arrived on time, were professional and provided an excellent service for a reasonable price. I have no problem in recommending Darwin Electrical (unlike my last electrician who I shall not name!).

Great Service - Highly Recommended

We had the need to call Darwin's out over the weekend as our lights "popped". Steve, the electrician attended and was extremely helpful and obliging.

I have a basic understanding of electrics, but could not find the fault. Steve found it in seconds and sorted the fault out equally as quick.

Very polite and refreshing in this day and age.

I have used their services before and would not hesitate in using them again, for their professionalism and quality of service.

I have used this company for over 25 years for various electrical work . No matter how small or large a job, the service us exceptional. Nothing us too much trouble. Promptly attended. No need to worry about the time you may need them there us always an excellent response. Courteous and fairly priced. What I liked about Steven was his advice and the fact that he said he would not offer advice or goods he himself would not take or use in his own home. Really caring company. Barbara Herszenhorn

Great Service & Competitive Rates

I have used Darwin for the electrical work in our extension. They have been brilliant. They listened to what we wanted but also gave us some ideas to enhance the lighting in the kitchen. Clean and tidy, excellent service, reliable and very competitive rates.
