I’m very happy with the work completed and the professionalism from the day of the initial survey to today when I received the post-work 30 year guarantee (without prompting from me). As a single female, I often find people in the trade try to take advantage of my apparent lack of knowledge when providing quotes. DTD treated me with respect from day one and provided a very reasonable quote which was 10% of the price of another company who misquoted me. My only suggestion for improvement would be that they only do the actual damp work, and do not have recommended companies to do other general building work which is required before/after the damp proofing. This made organising a date very tricky for me. However, I am very happy with everything else. Thank you for taking a big weight off my shoulders.

Challenging DTD Damproofer: Unveiling Unethical Practices

DTD Damproofer seems to be in collaboration with the landlord by providing inaccurate reports. Despite the evident damp issue in the property caused by structural water ingress into the floors, the DTD Consultant, during the visit, neglected to conduct thorough checks. Instead, they issued a report favoring the landlord, asserting the absence of damp and referencing room numbers that do not even exist in the property. It raises concerns about the integrity of DTD Damproofer, especially considering their collaboration with the Number One Property Management Company.

In response to these issues, we have decided to take legal action, and with the unwavering support of our neighbors, we are determined to bring attention to their unethical practices within the entire community.

DTD, honest, reliable, friendly, 1st class

Carl from DTD came and surveyed my property for causes of damp and although he found issues that DTD didn't deal with, he was happy to explain how to remedy these issues. He was extremely knowledable, polite and helpful. If I need remidial works done in the future that fall into DTD offered services I would not hesitate to call Carl or recommend DTD to friends, 1st class service, first class people.

Awful service

Rude on phones which is the only way to contact company. Not one bit helpful with enquiries, if anything goes wrong after they have given a service they expect £100 ‘deposit’ before they do anything!! Things are just made difficult if there are any problems so think twice before using them.

The rates and fees are incredibly reasonable. The administration and customer services team are friendly, honest and available to contact during business hours. There is even an emergency out of hours contact.

This company went above and beyond their remitted service, by travelling many miles to collect and return access key. PPE and Covid 19 regulation policies service adhered to. An outstanding service.

The Damp and Timber survey was conducted to the very highest standard. I will most certainly be using 'D.T.D. Damproofer Ltd' for further services. Very satisfied and incredibly pleased with their service.
