D R Car Repairs

I booked DR Car Repairs through a compare sites. Said job was done properly. Thumbs up to the team. However, I booked some additional works to be carried out on the same day over the phone. For one of them I supplied a new part. They fitted the part. And once they left the premises and I started the car the warning light came on. I enquired and was told the job was not under warranty because I had supplied the part and I would have to pay for labour and part again. However, the invoice said all cars to be test driven 10miles before being returned to the owner. But my car wasn’t test driven at all so there was no way of DR to know if the job done properly or was a faulty part nor I was given any advise on this. So they wanted to stick to their policy of supplied parts had no warranty however, when it came to all cars to be driven 10 miles, they did not follow it. Absolutely bonkers customer service. Again, was my mistake. Should have gone for a reputable garage.
