Darren certainly knows his stuff. He is a perfectionist and works to the highest standards. This is the second time I have used Darren, simply because he did such a good job first time round I didn’t hesitate to use him again. I had a amateur made, orange pine cupboard in my little cottage and asked Darren for advise to pretty it up. He suggested taking down the pine cladding, plasterboard it instead and plaster it to tie in with the existing wall and replace the pine door with an oak latched door to match the rest in my house, he did this for me and the transformation is fantastic. It looks like it’s always been there and very posh! He always explains what’s needed, sticks to the planned schedule and his prices are very reasonable. I’ve already got the next job lined up. RECOMMENDED- you can’t go wrong with Darren.

I called Darren on a Friday lunchtime to get advice on a small carpentry job and to possibly book me in but he did better than that and came to take a look within the hour and was able to do the job there and then. An excellent service, a professional job and a really nice guy. He gave me good advice and suggestions on a couple of future projects I discussed with him and I will definitely be using him in the future. I would recommend DLJ carpentry to anyone.

5 doors and new kick boards for kitchen all completed on time and to a very high standard. An excellent job at a competitive rate. Darren is very easy to work with and nothing is too much trouble, workmanship could not be bettered. We're really chuffed and wouldn't hesitate to use again. We needed a good carpenter and in a hurry. In order to complete on the sale of our untenanted property, we had to have some work done on an A Frame in the loft to bring it up to regulation standards. True to their description they were "willing to fit around client needs and deadlines. On top of this they kindly completed the job to higher standard than that requested in the vague guidelines to ensure it would pass the building control inspection. All in All an excellent job carried out by friendly and conscientious people. Highly recommended.
