D.J. Screen & Sons are one of a small number of independently owned and family run funeral homes. We have funeral homes in Brookfoot, Brighouse and Fartown, Huddersfield.

We are proud members of the National Association of Funeral Directors and the Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors, as well as been fully qualified and vastly experienced in all aspects.

In an unfortunatley un-regulated industry where anyone can simply open and trade as a funeral director we pride ourselves on being fully qualified and trained professionals that have been trading independently for nearly 30 years.

You can rest assured that when instructing D.J. Screen & Sons to look after a family member that their funeral will be carried out with the highest forms of dignity and respect and always in a traditional manner by experienced, fully qualified members of the family.

We offer cremation and burial services, will happily arrange with any requested place of worship, can arrange to show you our coffin selection rooms for you to see for yourself the vast range of quality coffins and caskets we have to offer as well as arrange newspaper notices, funeral stationary and floral tributes made by our in house florist and are also well- versed in the repatriation of a loved one too or from all four corners of the world.
