Here at DJ Davies Fuels Ltd we are an independent solid and liquid fuel distribution business based in Carmarthenshire, South West Wales.

We are the main importer and distributor for RWE - Brennstoff GmbH of Union lignite coal briketts across the UK for more than 15 years.

Our roots as a Diploma coal merchant give us more than forty years of solid fuel experience and we are proud to be one of the biggest suppliers of pre-packed solid fuel in the UK with a multitude and variety of customers ranging from domestic, wholesale and commercial.

Whilst we can offer a full solid and liquid fuel delivery service, a cash & carry is also available from:

*Bresnan Fuels in Swansea,

*Eaton Fuels in Lampeter, Ceredigion

*Welsh Dragon Fuels & Stoves, Capel Hendre, Carmarthenshire.

We also deliver heating oils across South and West Wales to both retail and business customers.

I'll stick with the big boys.

Ordered online on the 27th Nov with a window of on or before the 12th Dec. On the afternoon of the 12th rang to see if delivery is imminent. Reply from lady who took my call left me speechless. Her words were he may or may not deliver today depending on how busy he is. When asked if the delivery would be the next day if he failed today, she very abruptly told me no it would have to be rescheduled. Now in my eyes 2 weeks is more than enough time to schedule a delivery in my area as very populated, and I cant believe this lady's attitude to customers. I have run my own business for over 30 years and would never treat my customers like this.
We did receive a delivery that afternoon and the driver was very professional and was in and out before we knew.
Not sure if the office lady was having a bad day but she needs to leave it at home and do her job.
Back to boiler juice for me.

Been with this local company over 2 years now.friendly and helpful staff.
I have tendency to let my oil tank run dry on a few occasions.
I order for later date as it's cheaper but always had it much sooner.
I can't fault .they are brilliant.

Disappointing!!!!

Ordered oil on 16 December…delivery due on 22nd.The oil didn t arrive so we rang on the morning of 23rd to be told we were on the lorry for the afternoon delivery. Still no show which has left us without heating over the Christmas holiday….as another reviewer said …I have to keep this clean but I m sure you all know what I m thinking. For shame Davies Oil….we have been faithful customers with you for two years but no more…you took our money quick enough but you failed to honour your part of the contract!!! Thank you for ruining our Christmas…it hurts to give one star!!!

Busy local company with friendly service and competitive price

We keep an eye on our tank and aim to order before 'fumes'.
This company is busy and local and they generally get to us well before the latest date they quote to deliver.
That they are Welsh speaking and friendly and competitive on price keeps us supporting them and their lovely staff.
Have had a driver hop over a fence to deliver our oil as he arrived a few days earlier than was quoted and he still made sure it happened despite our gate being locked.
They have managed lock down and kept us fueled right through.

I have had 3 or 4 deliveries from this firm and all have arrived on the scheduled day. The delivery drivers have been really helpful and friendly. I have no hesitation in recommending this firm.
