I have been running a business from Tewitfield for nearly 10 years, and Carnforth DIY has been a wonderful source of useful hardware shop. Helpful and knowledgeable staff who take a pride in their shop. It is always so good to be able to wander round and see the products that you might buy.
It is a rare kind of shop these days, they are closing down all over the place and being replaced with cafes or tacky lighting shops! Long Live Carnforth DIY!

Rudest man I have ever met. He told me to “clear off and never come back again” when I dared to ask for a refund for a £13 tin of paint bought in error.

An Absolute Gem of a DIY Shop.

Friendly personal service. A shop where you can buy the few screws you need rather than a whole box like in big DIY shops. They will cut up wood so you can get it in your car. Describe your problem and the people here will try to come up with a solution. I cannot recommend this shop highly enough.
