David France, the company principal and lead craftsman, is a highly experienced stonemason with over 30 years in the stonemason trade. David’s learning path began as an apprentice. He studied and worked for the full four years of his apprenticeship.

To increase his knowledge and skill, David also studied at Weymouth College to achieve his City and Guilds in the craft. As a skilled stonemason David France specialises in sculpture commissions, hand cut lettering and template making services.

David has worked on prestigious projects for English Heritage and various Councils and his work can be seen in prominent locations throughout the UK.

David is a CIS6 Subcontractor Certificate Holder.

All of our masons are qualified to NVQ level 3 in Heritage Skills Stone Masonry (Gold Cards).
