I was recommended to contact this company today to obtain a short length of steel angle. I called to check they were open and that they had what I wanted - yes to both. The company is based on a little industrial estate and is not obvious from the road, this being the only demerit. Guys a sign roadside would be very helpful. CML is at the end of the row of units. The owner, Mitch. showed me the two types of angle he had in my size requirement and I selected 5mm. On measuring my required length he found there was just enough to make two but the otherwise offcut would be rather small to be of much use to him so he offered me a second piece half price. (Who could refuse?) He then cut the Steel to the required lengths and cut one end of each to a very sharp point and carefully cleaned up the cuts for no charge.
Wow! personal, very friendly service with no waiting at a good price. The unit seems well stocked with extrusions and sheets in various metals. I very highly recommend.

Mitchell was very helpful and helped us in an emergency

I telephoned this morning regarding a new battery for my car and by 2.30pm this afternoon a new one had been delivered and installed. I'm very impressed with the speed, efficiency and helpful service.

I didn't need a minimum of 6 metres of angle steel for my DIY brackets. I needed only 0.6 metres. The usual DIY stores were no help at all. Cuxton Metals was recommended to me by one of their suppliers and Mitchell proved to be very helpful and even cut the steel to my exact lengths. He was very generous in his pricing too. It is often very difficult to find exactly what you need for very small jobs but I can totally recommend Mitchell at Cuxton Metals. He is helpful and generous in the good old fashioned way.
