Terrible experience

Went out for a family meal to celebrate our fathers birthday. Sadly it was ruined by very poor quality food for the prices charged. Had to get a refund after finding hair in food. Large group of us, food coming out 20 minutes in between each plate coming out. Lots of extras missing, manager clearly rushed off her feet and trying her best but we weren’t the only one complaining. More food being sent back to the kitchen than what was being eaten! All staff young/under age and no clue about customer service. Standards have slipped at this pub/restaurant has gone down hill rapidly since our last visit. Will not be returning.

Awful. Never returning.

Awful food, steak was meant to be sirloin and was served rump. It was tough, chewy and fatty. Onion rings were soggy and it was all overpriced.

Disapointed customer.

We have used this pub/restaurant many times and had nothing but good food, drinks and service. Unfortunately on our last visit we were sat at a table that was unstable and one of our drinks fell off and we were charged for the replacement drink, which we thought was unfair as it wasn't our fault. Hence we upped in disgust and left and went to another restaurant. We don't think we will be going back any time soon.👎

Revolting food, indifferent staff

A bleak and unpleasant experience awaits you at the Crown in Powick. The menu is expansive but uninspired, and the food, when it *eventually* arrives is.. vile. I went with a party of 3 and not one of us was happy with our meal. The chips were as limp as a clerics handshake, the gammon so overdone as to have been cremated and the starter was of such mean portions size that my companion dryly observed that we had been bought a Nacho, as a finer restaurant would have offered us a taste of the wine to approve. There really is no overstating what a disappointment the food it, badly cooked, small portions, grossly overpriced and the aftertaste (which is still with me) is of old oil and the shattered aspirations of the 'chef'. The staff are indifferent and cold to the point of rudeness, when I enquired after out errant meal I was told the one hour waiting time was due to them being Busy. There really were not that many people in.

A failure, and I will NEVER visit again.
