Great chimney sweep and good man for advice on my wood burner and chimney. Have been relying on Countryman for some years now and always happy.

Came to sweep my chimney in December 2017 stuck a rod up the pipe which had some sort of metal piece on the end which was in turn connected to a drill when he pulled this out it made a hell of a noise paid my money and he went on his way. When the snow came down I was confronted with water running down the outside of the pipe onto the top of the wood burner to his due he came back pretty quick identified the problem (which was due to the seal being broken where the pipe enters the chimney) stated he would order the part get in touch within two or three weeks to fix it four weeks later heard nothing and no reply to phone calls, finally get a reply to an email stating they don’t do repairs any more so has left me in the lurch and out of pocket , phoned him up and he cut the call great !! Would not recommend this company. Next port of call trading standards.
