Country Bumpkins is brought to you by husband & wife team Phil & Elaine Curran. With over 30 years experience dealing with a wide range of farm animals and horses we have tasted success on the racecourse with our horses and in the show ring with horses & sheep. The sheep are Zwartbles, a Dutch milking breed they are tall black sheep notable by their white blaze and white tail tips, they are particularly docile & maternal which makes them very easy to keep. They can also be used for milking, producing around 2 pints per day.

Holly our miniature mediterranean donkey is a traditional grey brown donkey with dark points, she has been a particular favourite at open days and school fairs. R’Kid is a Pygmy goat, he is somewhat a minor celebrity with his own facebook page and he is always up to mischief. Rosie our miniature Shetland pony is just 2 years old and will eventually be broken to ride (for small children). We also keep a variety of chickens and ducks for their egg production.
