Established in 1996, and incorporated as a Limited company in February 2002 at Correct Service Ltd we have grown to become one of Nottingham's most reputable service agents for whom many high street retailers turn to provide them with an efficient and reliable after sales service.

With a team of 17 employees, Correct is a family run business with a strict policy to provide our customers with a service they find prompt, friendly and informative, competitive and above all reliable.

We are approved service agents for many of the world's leading manufacturers such as Sony, Hitachi, Panasonic, Samsung and Toshiba.

Our business has thrived for over 2 decades, growing bigger and busier year-on-year. Steven and his twin brother Andrew are directors of Correct Service. Steve has worked for correct for 15 years. He took over the role as director in 2016 when his father Joe Green retired. Steve has had many years of experience in repairing TVs, as it has been a family affair since he can remember. He started his career in engineering and gained a HND in Mechatronics & Electrical Engineering.

Great service and fair pricing

I recently had my amplifier repaired. The price they quoted was very fair. Rather disappointing it developed exactly the same fault..so I called they were very friendly and prompt. I asked them to refund, as I needed a reliable product, they did not hesitate and agreed. A very respectable family firm with great service.

This company is great , really professional , really quick response time , excellent product knowledge, most honest and most refreshing to deal with such a good company , would 100% recommend this company. They came out next day from initially enquiry , inspected my Sony LED TV and came back same day with all the parts it could need and fixed with correct part and even got this done under Warrenty when I was happy to pay for the work. All good 😊👍

Broken Tv

Absolutely shocking company!!! Came out spent 30 minutes watching the tv flick on and off, which we had told them previously on the telephone, to be told it was the mother board. Took £50 from me and left saying because of the age of the tv they wasn’t sure if they can get the part!! Tv about 7 years old, hmmm. Didn’t even attempt to remove the tv from wall or look at it. Then the company telephoned to say it’s going to cost us over £300 but because of the age of the tv probably not bother. Really!! So £50 out of pocket, what a perfect sideline. No wonder they’ve been in business for over 20 years. Please beware!!!

Sony needs to change their agent

My elderly mother's 30" TV not working properly and still under warranty. After a lengthy call with the manufacturer, Sony, they gave me this company's number as their agent. Got the excuse an engineer wouldn't come out for a less than 40" TV! We needed to take the TV back to the place of purchase and leave it for Correct Service to pick it up "whenever they are passing - could be 1 week or 2 weeks". Could be never then!! Absolutely abysmal service. First time and last time of dealing with this company!!

We are really sorry you feel so disappointed with our service, however, I would like to clarify the situation:- It is a stipulation by most manufacturers that TV's under 40" together with all other small appliances are classed as " Carry in or back to base items". This requires the customer to take the item back to the retailer or to an approved service centre for repair. We operate a free collection service from most retailers as a courtesy service for our customers, this is dependent on when we are next in the vicinity of the retailer. We are able to collect and return warranty items for our customers if they are unable to return the item to either the retailer or us, however we do charge for this service as it is not covered under the warranty, the repair itself would be carried out under the warranty free of charge to the customer. it would appear unfair to penalise our company when it is not us who sets these stipulations.
