Core Vocational Training is an Adult Training Centre accredited by EAL, we offer personalised and comprehensive instructions to train to become a professional plumber.

Course Details

The level 2 ‘Diploma in Plumbing & Heating' course is designed to support learners in developing practical skills and knowledge in preparation for a future career within the plumbing industry. The practical aspects of the course will include carrying out a range of plumbing installations (including materials used in domestic, commercial and Industrial environments). Learners will gain an insight into the plumbing industry, including working practices, installation skills and techniques.

No previous qualifications are required.

I struggled with paperwork stuff but the way Andy teaches u pick it up so fast u get out what u put in one evening theory one evening practical I can honestly say I've never felt so good doing a course so if you want to become a plumber andy is the one to teach you

Great course taught by Andy, exceptional learning experience from CVT.

I spent 30 weeks on the course have taken so much away, Andy is very patient and explains everything in great detail.

The practical sessions in the course are excellent with time taken to help individuals, Andy has a wealth of experience in the trade.

I would recommend CVT to anyone interested in gaining plumbing / heating qualifications.

I have taken so much away from the course and are now starting to build my own base of customers.

NVQ level 2 Plumbing and heating.

This course has been outstanding. Not only have I gained the confidence to actually be able to do tasks, but I have also gained experience in plumbing. Andy is an awesome teacher, his wealth of knowledge and experience shines through on his teaching. His technical knowledge is second to none and the way he passes this on to you in a friendly none threatening way is a credit to his character.
He has many many funny stories of his past life "on the tools", and these stories just add substance to what you are trying to learn to do. I never thought I would have enjoyed a course so much as I have.
Thank you Andy, you really have enhanced my working life.
What am I going to do on a Tuesday and Thursday now!!!?

Great course, really well set out, facilities are brilliant and Andy is a great teacher. Since becoming qualified I have started a small plumbing business, couldn't have asked for more than that from this course!

A Great Course

I can’t recommend Core Vocational Training higher enough. My experience while completing the level 2 Plumbing course was both educational and enjoyable. The class based teaching is lively, interactive and extremely informative, while the practical work leaves you confident to tackle jobs ranging from installing hot water tanks to completing an entire bathroom. Andy, who taught us was always willing to give extra tips and information and I felt went far beyond what I would have expected from the course. A fantastic investment in yourself, well worth every penny.
