Worst car I have ever bought

I purchased a Vauxhall insignia 12 months ago from Coombs of Medway. I had to give it a full service after 2 weeks of ownership which I was told it did not need. After it's service I took it back with concerns about the gear box, as I was told it's on its way out by a friend (Vauxhall specialist) who also stated that the underneath of the car was very rusty for the amount of miles it had done and would probably not pass an mot in 5 months when due with the tyres and break condition. Coombs did check the gear box but insisted it was ok, they advised that I had a mot carried out by the garage that they use and the car passed, the gearbox is now noisy in certain gears, I have also renewed 4 tyres and a new exhaust centre and back box and will be renewing front disks and pads at next mot. and it turns out we don't even own the car as we have never received v5 documents as it seems they could not be bothered to send it off. I would stay well clear of Coombs of Medway.

Death Trap

I bought a car 10 months ago from here with an MOT that had no advisaries. I took it for an MOT and it was so bad the underside was so rusted away they had to abandon the test as it was not safe to continue. It was basically only fit for scrap. This rusting wouldn't of happened within 10 months so how it passed its previous MOT and the company thought it would be safe to sell. I have no idea.

I needed to sell my car as price of fuel has increased so much that its not cost- effective to use to travel to my workplace in Bristol. I made many calls to local traders and I found Coombs of Medway had the best price for my car. I'm really pleased with the quick exchange and can now put this money towards train fares.
