The RICS Homebuyer Survey, also known as a Homebuyer's Report, is a survey completed to a standard format set out by RICS - it's most suitable for conventional properties built within the last 150 years.
Unlike estate agents' valuations, surveyors' valuation reports are legally binding. Where valuations are for matrimonial or tax purposes, in some cases additional work may be required, particularly where reports are for use in legal proceedings or where court appearances and expert witness work are anticipated. 5The whole valuation was explained, the steps that would follow and the necessary further steps if more than 3 months would pass prior to completion of my sale. I cannot recommend Matthew and his business more highly and would thoroughly recommend him.
One point to note, as Matthew and his business are so good at what they do, you can expect at least a couple of week wait for the valuation to be booked in, but once the visit is done, the valuation report will be provided very swiftly.
