Garden centres and plant specialists. We are a family business first started by the Cooling family in 1912. Plants grown on-site in production nursery at Rushmore Hill, Knockholt.
Coolings is an award winning, independent, Garden Centre group in Kent. Our three sites are Coolings The Gardener’s Garden Centre and Coolings Green & Pleasant. Both situated in Knockholt, Kent, only 1.4 miles apart. Our sister site The Potted Garden is in Bearsted near Maidstone.
We are associated with the Garden Centre Association and the Horticultural Trade Association.
At Coolings we specialise in plants. Not only do we grow over 65% of our own plants at our on-site nursery, at our main site Coolings Gardeners Garden Centre we have over three acres of display area full of the widest selection of plants available - one of the largest in the UK.
