THE CATTERY THAT CARES

London Cat Boarding

Located just 30 minutes from central London, Comfy Cats Cattery is in a delightful, calm garden setting. With the resident chickens and birds visiting the feeders, our guests have plenty to interest them.

Closest Cattery to to Heathrow Airport

The cattery has been established for 16 years, owned and run by Edwina Coda. Convenient for Heathrow, it is a perfect holiday destination for your cats where you can be sure they will be cared for just as you would wish.

All cabins are heated, with a sun shelf and scratch posts. Comfy Cats is small enough to really get to know every cat and give them exactly the care and attention that suits them.

Book Early to Avoid Disappointment

Comfy Cats is not a large cattery so we quickly become full, particularly at busy periods such as school holidays and Christmas. We accept cats for their holidays all year. Please don't forget to bring your vaccination certificate as we cannot accept cats without a current certificate.

Reviews

Confident in the care given !!!!

I am Confused looking at below reviews I have been leaving my cats here for years and I wouldn’t take them anywhere else. Every time I pick them up they are healthy and happy. I always know they are having as good a hol as me. The owner always knows my cats favourite treats and has them ready for when they arrive. I am nothing but thankful for knowing my baby’s are left in great hands when I go away

Cats left here sick - do not use

1
Left my cats here for the first time recently while on holiday - both left dirty, unhappy, lost weight and one is now sick with an infection that needed vet care. Do not use!

Absolutely first class .

I've had two cats in the last 20 years and both of them have been to Comfy Cats several times a year. My first cat always came back happy and healthy and I never had any worries about leaving him with Edwina. When he died at age 15, I soon acquired another cat who is now 15. He has diabetes and Edwina looks after him extremely well , taking care with his insulin injections twice a day and spoiling him with cuddles ! I would hate to take him anywhere else and trust her completely to look after him when I have to leave him in order to visit my 92 year old mother several times a year. He also comes back home happy and healthy (apart from the diabetes which is now stable).

Great setting in a lovely garden, large runs, covered house area, outside space plus loving care.

We have been leaving our cats in Comfy Cats Cattery for over 25 years.and have received consistently good service from Edwina, the Proprietor. The cats are very well looked after. This May we left our two cats for 12 days, and the cats came out very content, as they had been hugged and made a fuss of during their stay. When we collected them, Edwina was ready with her helper and they were given one last cuddle before they left for their 20 mile car journey home. We would not go anywhere else for a cattery. The runs are very large with a covered house area, and there is a good outside space. Blankets and toys are provided. The location is superb in a lovely garden setting with a pond and chickens. Plenty to keep the cats occupied. Thanks once again for a successful stay. Janet and Tim, Chesham, Bucks.

WOULD NOT USE THIS CATTERY AGAIN

1
The first time l left my cat's in this cattery, l was re-assured that my four cats, would be looked after properly, which l believed at the time they were, and gave them a good review. This time l had first hand experience, which l would never leave my cat's with these people again. Firstly l arrived at the cattery just after 10am, and the owner told my partner that the cat's had not been yet been fed, l had specified that they should be fed them early as they were early risers and that l usually fed them around 7.30 to 8.00 in the morning. Secondly l hate the idea of workers smoking around my cats, and this l witnessed first hand inside where the cat pens are, a young girl lighting up a cigarette and smoking. This cattery should have a conduct of care as a provider' of animal care.
