Set up by Sandra Gibbons, a nurse of 34 years experience, Colonic Health provides Colonic Hydrotherapy for people looking for relief from the symptoms of IBS and many other gastrointestinal problems such as bloating, constipation and diarrhoea. Sandra has seen first hand how these conditions can affect individuals day to day life. Colonic Hydrotherapy is also for those that simply want to maintain and improve their digestive health and enjoy enhanced energy levels that often results from the treatment. Every day, many thousands of people have the treatment, from celebrities and film stars to people of all ages and all walks of life.

Colonic Hydrotherapy can help to optimise the function of the large bowel in a number of ways, such as rehydration of the large intestine, rebalancing of gut bacteria, repair of the gut wall, removal of excess wastes and irritants and restoration of bowel motility by re-toning the muscles.

Of course some people are unsure what the treatment involves, which is why Sandra offers a free 10 minute no obligation appointment, where you can meet her, see the clinic set up and equipment and ask any questions about the procedure. ( Sandra uses a natural Gravity, closed system which is very gentle, in conjunction with massage of specific areas of the colon.).

Once you have decided to have the treatment, your first appointment will be approximately one and a half hours, as a medical health assessment/consultation, including blood pressure check, will be carried out ( no extra charge is made for this). Any further appointments will be 1 hour duration, though the treatment itself is usually 30-40 minutes duration.

Single treatments cost £60, a course of 3 costs £150 ( Please note, you will never be advised to have more treatments than are necessary).
