Business overview

One of the only veterinary practice in this part of Scotland who provide their own out-of-hours service

Our Wishaw branch is a small animal practice. Using the facilities at our disposal we aim to excel in small animal medicine and surgery, as well as providing all the usual services, e.g. neutering cats and dogs. Our small animal suite allows us to deal with many complex surgical problems, including internal medicine and orthopaedics. We encourage all our staff to improve and enhance their skills in all areas of veterinary medicine.

Disgusted customer

1
Been a customer for more than fifteen years. Have five dogs registered with this vet. Over the years I've had more than twenty dogs registered with this vet. Today my fifteen ýear old German Shepherd collapsed and at 78 years old I needed a home visit to put my dog to sleep as he was suffering so badly. The vets respone was no, they couldn't call out as they were too busy. The best they could offer was to suggest I take the dog to Lanark where they do have a practice that may be able to have the dog put to sleep. At 78 I am not able to lift the dog into a car nor could I get a taxi to agree to take him. I have contacted the sspca to ask if they could assist. They are currently attempting to secure a van and driver to transport the dog to the vet in Lanark.
I have never had such a disgustingly poor service from any vet in my life.

Terribe service.

Very poor vets took my dog for his second vaccine as they told me theres was compatable only to find out they are not and my dog is not fully vaccinated phoned several other vets who all told me the same thing.nial There director/partner of clyde vets called me to try convince me that he knew better than all the other vets and that it was compatible even after admiting the producers of the vaccine have never shown any evidence that they are so now my dog is not fully vaccinated and needs to wait another 2 weeks to get a booster before he will be fully vaccinated. Safe to say my dog has been moved to a more trustworthy vet and not one who is just out for the money and is so smug they think they know better than the drug/vaccine manufacturer and also think they can pull the wool over the pet owners eyes. Shocking service.

Phoned both Wishaw & Lanark at 9am Monday, both practices have no appointments all week, like NONE! What is the point of registering here?
