Terrible workmanship

Clive Reid did some work for me on a sub contract basis. The last 2 jobs were a disaster. Carpets were never covered properly which resulted in both emulsion and gloss causing damage to the carpets. The last job resulted in damage of over £4000 to oak veneer wardrobes which were to be painted into white. Was given 6 days to complete this and other a couple of rooms to decorate...finished in 5 days and never followed the correct procedure and wrecked the wardrobes to such an extent they had to be taken away to be restored. Claimed he had insufficient time to complete the job yet finished a day early. I'm now pursuing him through the courts to retrieve the money I've had to compensate the customer.
