Clive Forward

Clive Forward was born in Somerset, but was raised in Dorset where he currently lives today. Having been born with health problems, he was unable to take part in sporting activities so when he attended a local secondary-school it was agreed that perhaps he would like to take more lessons in art instead of just sitting watching whilst others took part in the sports.

​As art was something that he always enjoyed he had no second thought about the offer. After leaving school, a few years went past and he had the opportunity to attend art college, which he did for a year, on a Foundation Course. Having learnt the technique of pen and ink drawing, he started to attend arts & crafts fairs (which he still does), firstly, only with greetings cards which he had designed. Since then Clive has expanded his skills and now creates stunning pieces of portrait and still life artwork in various forms.
