Clifmere M O T Centre

I popped in to Cliffmere couple of weeks ago,I had drove too far up a kerb and pulled the front end of my bumper off.I just wanted to know if I could glue it.They looked at it and fixed it for me at no cost.They said if I have anymore problems to just pop back.I have been going to Cliffmere for about 15/16 years they are very helpful and informative,which helps when your a woman and know nothing about cars.huge thank you.

Fabulous service, friendly team, helpful explaining tyre safety and how to spot when need new ones. Clearly love cars as renevating very old classics. Absolutely recommend to anyone, a very cost effective MoT, thorough and helpful indeed.

This was my third visit and the first not be regarded as a 5* experience. When I came to pay the oil surcharge had increased from the previous £15 to £35 for the same vehicle. This was my fault as I hadn’t revisited the small print. To improve the customer experience it would help if the additional costs were more prominent in the offer, and even better if highlighted at the time of booking. The order of work could also help reduce surprises, ie complete the service before the mot. In my case this would have highlighted a simple adjustment issue with the handbrake. Rectified after the mot costs a minimum of one service manhour circa £60 irrespective of the action. In my case it was a simple handbrake adjustment, which I completed in minutes at home, based on the guidance of the test engineer, unfortunately could not retest on the day, and attracted a further £10 charge. Overall groupon is no better than using the garage direct, as costs would be more transparent, with less surprises

I was recommended by a family member after having trouble with my car that two garages could not fix , to make an appointment at Clifmere as they have worked magic with one of there cars. The initial lady representative was very friendly and was booked in at a time to suit my work schedule. They called within the morning after leaving it to say they have found the issue, it was a relatively cheap and easy fix and what problems it had caused me and the fact two other garages did not sort it after wasting money. All staff treated me with courtesy and explained the problem very well. We be in know doubt to return to this garage should my car required further servicing and MOT work.
