A good service let down by a sexist and unprofessional locksmith1
I have hens in my back garden and he asked me what the obsession was with chickens? Did I grow up on a farm? Then do I have any WD40 seeing as i'm a farm girl?! Banter maybe?
He then once the lock was fixed asked me to test it, so I closed the door and locked it and it worked fine. Great. He told me oh you close the door wrong, women always close the door like that?! (women push the handle down to close and then lift up to lock, the correct way, you know the way men close a door is to just push it and then life to lock!). I did say that probably isn't the best way to speak to your customers with that generalization. He was then defensive saying he doesn't see the issue in saying that, its true. Its 2020, there was no need!
