Cinders Party Dress

Smashing service and they made my neice feel totally at ease. Can’t recommend enough. Lovely team, such care and attention to detail provided.

My daughter doesn’t really wear dresses and they helped her pick a nice dress and made a fuss of her, which was lovely. She rang the bell to say yes to the dress - a nice touch. I can’t fault the staff but can fault the dress. The dress had to be taken up. When my daughter went to try it on for the adjustment, we noticed a hole where the skirt met the top part - not a place I would think to check before buying. I gave the dress a once over, without going close up all over I’d never have noticed this. I didn’t fancy the drive back, so luckily my seamstress put stitches in it to fix it. The other really upsetting thing is the strap broke on the dress part way through the evening, luckily it was tight fitting and stayed up, but my daughter felt conscious and had to borrow a jacket to wear over the dress to cover up. I paid £375 for the dress and really expected better quality. I’ll think twice about spending that amount again. The dress was Signature Collection By Hermione.

I was so nervous about going to my 1 on 1 appointment with cinders especially as a plus size girl, I was scared nothing would fit me and I wouldn't get a dress in time for graduation but I did! I need alterations but they put me in contact with a lady who is going to do my adjustments on short notice.

Debbie was rushed off her feet as she was in the shop alone due to unforseen circumstances but she was so lovely and helpful. She made me feel right at home and made it fun so I didn't mind waiting, especially since she had such a sweet dog!

I'll definitely be shopping with cinders again when I need a pretty dress and I'll be looking out for job listings haha

Took my daughter prom dress shopping today and oh my gosh!!! Beyond impressed by how helpful, lovely and friendly everyone was!! What I thought could be a little bit stressful -teenage shoppers haha! Bernie was absolutely AMAZING!! She put my daughter at ease and made her feel so special! We had the best afternoon!! I’ll be back again even if it’s just to pop in for a chat 😆 can’t thank you enough! Xx

Went this shop as they promise not to sell the same dress to the same school! Well what a load of rubbish ! ruined my daughters prom buy selling another girl in her year not only the same dress but in the same colour! Could of bought a dress off the internet and took a chance that nobody else had it but as it’s guaranteed from this shop my daughter wanted to go to them. Over £500 waisted then a further £60 I had to pay out after to fix all the loose beads and rip in the front before she even wore it!!! Don’t even bother complaining as you get nowhere. Was warned about this shop and I should of listened.
