Churchdown Cattery & Kennels

We've used Churchdown C&K for our 2 dogs for the past few years - if they weren't caring, good with plenty of space for exercise we'd have gone elsewhere.

My two dogs have stayed a few times now, and seem to be fine when they have been picked up. I would like to say the owner has been very helpful with me I couldn't collect until later than they said but she said just ring when on way I gave her a rough time and was more than happy to help. My dogs are very fussy eaters so I just took my own food in for them to have. I also took them went it was the old owner about ten years ago and I was a different place back then so I made sure I had a look around before they went and met the lady to check it was new people. I will carry on using her.

What rubbish some people write! Our dog really loves going there and we have been extremely glad to leave her with the current owners who seem to focus on the needs of the dogs (& cats). Walks at a kennels cannot be as long as we give the dog, but they do get quite reasonable airings.

I left my dog here for 1 week while I took my children away on holiday. Yvonne, the lady who runs the kennels was very friendly and welcoming, not just to me but more importantly, to my dog Louis. I was anxious about leaving him, but I could see from the outset this was going to be fine for him. The kennels have recently been refurbished and the owner showed me around explained the procedures to me and by the time I left I felt completely fine about leaving Louis there. On our return Louis bounded all over the place as he was so happy to see us all. We heard all about Loui’s week while we were away, which was really special. This is a very caring kennel and I would have no hesitation in taking Louis there again. Thank you for taking such amazing care of Louis and we are looking forward to seeing you again.
