Over thirty years, teaching and performing experience.

Christine has a wealth of performing experience touring the world as a professional singer; pianist; bandleader and arranger in five star hotels and cruise ships including the QE2.

Christine has been teaching music for more than twenty years. She has a well-equipped music room which also has recording facilities.

Christine is experienced in teaching pupils from the very young to the retired, whether it is for pleasure or professional training.

Students have the option of taking ABRSM exam grades from Preparatory Level to Diploma in ABRSM exams or LCM Musical Theatre.

As well as private tuition, Christine is part of the Performing Arts Team at Brockenhurst College as a Vocal Coach, Piano Teacher and Lecturer in Performing Arts. A large proportion of her time here is spent preparing students for professional auditions, practical examinations and recording backing tracks.

Christine is a really good teacher she approaches private lessons professionally and very seriously. She commits to share a goal and achieve it together with the learner. She is approachable and very nice mannered.

I am attempting to rekindle an interest in the piano after many years of inactivity. Christine has been friendly and encouraging and very specific regarding technicalities relating to fingering, interpretation of dynamics and pedal usage. No shortage of things to think about!

Engaging Lessons and constant encouragement!

I would very highly recommend Christine Thomas to anyone considering having piano or singing lessons. I started piano lessons with Christine nine months ago, having had lessons up till grade 2 several years ago (with a different teacher). Within those nine months I have achieved grade 4 and 5, and am now taking grade 7 next month, all thanks to Christine's encouragement and support. But not only have I gained piano grades, I have also gained a passion for playing the instrument (perhaps even an addiction to playing it!), as well as much more confidence in myself! Thank you!

I'm a singing Student of Christine Thomas have been for over 4 years I have learnt so much in that time through the help & confidence of Christine I'm now climbing the Exam ladder something I never thought I could achieve .my lesson is fun as well learning to sing Christine is a very helpful & understanding music teacher not at all pushy ,& easy going this teacher will bring out the best in you ,I do recommend Christine Thomas please give this teacher a call & let her help you, no matter what your age. Christine is a great & fun loving teacher.

Piano and Singing excellent tuition

Having returned to music lessons after a long 10 year break, I was looking for a good teacher who could help me get back into the piano. Christine is so supportive and has the patience of a saint. Her techniques are effective. Christine's wealth of experience is inspiring and has given me the confidence to continue studying the piano and to even take up singing. She puts you at ease and her lessons are fun. I would thoroughly recommend Christine.
