I put an offer in for a chair that was accepted.
The seller replied saying to phone ahead to make sure it’s not been sold before we leave. This was a bit of a shock as I thought we had already agreed on the sale and sale price.
I then asked if we were able to reserve it and pick it up either today or tomorrow and what time they closed. I received no answer to my question, just an ‘early today 5.45’. No option given to reserve with a deposit.
I phoned ahead and told them in the message we were leaving and to make sure it wasn’t sold beforehand.
I then ring again almost an hour into our journey to check everything is still fine as I received no answer to my message even though I could see they had read it. I was then told the chair had been sold in the last hour and I should have paid a deposit. I was given no option to pay a deposit, despite asking if we could reserve it.
Lack of communication from the seller. I would expect much better from a shop.

Have visited Choice Furnishings several times now and am always very pleased with the selection of items there. There is always something different when I go and the good thing about this shop is that they can adapt to your needs where a larger company can't. I bought something in the morning and had it delivered in the afternoon which was brilliant and the delivery prices are reasonable. The staff are helpful and will ring their other shop to see if they can get something for you over there.

It's one of those places that once you've been once, you'll keep going but initially it can feel a bit tucked away in the industrial estate. The prices of the items are exceptionally good value - I got something half the price of what a major, national retailer was selling it for and it was the same item! So I was really pleased and the quality was the same.
