Chequers Motor Company

Bought a car from Chequers Motor Company in November and wanted to wait to see what the car and their service was like. I called and dealt with the owner Jonathan and he sent me a personal video of the car I was Interested in. In the video Jonathan pointed out things, he thought i may be concerned about. Being happy with the vehicle I then arranged to click and collect the car from the Chequers office in Four Marks a few days later. Jonathan arranged a contactless collection for me and the car was very clean and better in reality than in the video. Before speaking to Chequers I was amazed by so many excellent reviews over such a long period,
I had a good feeling these guys were good eggs! and I was right. I work as a carer and with current times being very stressful these guys made it stress free to change my car and the reliability of my car is really important. It’s a great car I love it! and I will be back to Chequers. Thank you :,

After speaking with Jonathan over the phone and him kindly sending us a detailed video of the car we were looking to purchase, we decided to drive up to see him. What can I say, very friendly and knowledgeable chap who couldn't of been more helpful or professional. The car was very well presented and exactly as described, however it wasn't right for our needs and as soon as we realised this he gave us some very useful information on the specification of car we should be looking for, even though he didn't have the right car for us in stock on that day. He didn't have to help us, but he did and was happy to do so, which shows to me he cares that little bit more about his customers happiness than anything else. That's a rare thing to find these days. I was recommended by a friend to Jonathan the owner of Chequers who booked me an appointment to talk about my proposed purchase. During this appointment he ran through the options for me and I proceeded with his recommendation. The car arrived and he kept me informed of its progress through his checks. He then arranged for me to view and collect the car. Wow the car was better then I expected and had some extras which was a pleasurable surprise! I have had the car a month now and love it, Jonathan cares about his cars and customers ensuring you are happy though from meeting him to looking at his cars, he goes to great lengths to find the right car for you. All the positive reviews across the internet about Chequers are 100% reflection of what to expect with this company. Plus if you initially talk with Jonathan he is open and transparent on how he trades. What a fantastic experience I had buying a car from Chequers Motor Company. Brilliantly polite and professional from my initial call, the car was ready at the time I asked and Jonathan was just a delight to deal with - an absolute breath of fresh air for anyone looking to buy a good spec used car.
