Mark at Chelmsford Boilers was great from day one quote. He said the old boiler could be replaced with a modern version, with system flushed, pipework modified old flue filled and new one created plus control unit, thermostat, circulation pump and cylinder thermostat in three days. Other firms seemed only interested in ripping out the whole system costing £££thousands
Mark got straight to work, protecting our carpets etc , thoroughly flushing the system. He worked solidly for seven hours and single handedly
removed the 70 kilogram cast iron old boiler Day two the new boiler, installed, tested and we had hot water that night. Day 3 he worked 8 hours solid system delivering the warmest radiators in years. He demonstrated how to programme the control unit.
His work was solid and tidy and the bill very reasonable and within bounds expected from looking online. ********************highly recommended. Hire him with confidence.

Recently had all rads removed and replaced for traditional column radiators, plus one moved from one wall to another. Mark was great at suggesting which rads we should buy (and which were cost effective) - he was quick, efficient and a really lovely man! More importantly, he was honest and helpful. Much cheaper than other engineers and quotes we had! He completed the work in 2 days - 5 rads! Very tidy, arranged for old rads to be collected too! - which was a result! Defo would recommend and use him again.
