Established in 2008 and as parents ourselves we know how difficult it is to find the right nursery for your children.

Cheeky Monkeys Day Nursery and Pre School have 2 branches, one situated at The Essex Golf & Country Club at Earls Colne, CO6 2NS, which gives parents easy access to the A120/A12 and our second, brand new, purpose built nursery, our Cheeky Monkeys Colchester branch which is situated at William Harris Way (Off Berechurch Road, Colchester CO2 8WJ).

Cheeky Monkeys Day Nursery and Pre School provides professional care for children from birth to 8 years of age, in a relaxed and happy atmosphere that is both safe and secure.

In this supportive environment your child will be able to learn through play and follow a curriculum that will help them to develop to their full potential.

Our outdoor play facilities are thoroughly enjoyed by the children which also backs onto our forest school facilities
Our baby room with great facilities and caring, fully trained staff.
We love painting!! (or gloop, mud, sand, glitter, cutting, sticking, foam...)
Great for outings! we go to the sea side, picnics, adventure walks, forest school, theatre trips. So many places - it even gets used to do the school drop offs and pick ups! If you see us - give us a wave!!!

Steer clear. Not suitable

The location was very dirty. Children left unattended. Special needs children not given adequate care. Staff were not maternal and some not even clean. Toilets were a health hazard. Absolute joke!

Highly recommend you take a look - great care,great staff and great facilities. Mini bus, swimming pool and Forest School - Kids love it and dont mind being left one bit
