I created Chameleon Tree Services back in 1986 to specialise in all aspects of domestic tree, shrub and hedge work and have provided completely free quotations and advice to my clients from the very start.

I am on site to deal directly with my clients from quote to completion, providing a personal, no nonsense service that gives you what you want without unnecessary expense and environmentally negative results.

I use only professional battery power tools so you and your neighbours will not suffer the noise disturbance of petrol gear when work is carried out.

My typical work includes:

- Precision removal of dangerous or unwanted trees near buildings or in other confined spaces.

- Tree crown thinning: This is removing small branches within the crown of a tree without changing its height and spread to allow more daylight to reach your house and garden.

- Tree crown reduction: This is making the overall height and spread of the tree smaller, while removing potentially hazardous growth that could cause harm or damage to people or property through breakage in high winds.

- Fruit tree pruning.

- Reduction of large overgrown shrubs to a more manageable state.

- Routine trimming and custom shaping of shrubs and hedges.

- Planting Advice; I strongly advocate planting native tree and shrub species to help our struggling wildlife retain viable habitat and food sources in the urban environment.

All green waste resulting from the work can be removed from your property without problem. However, I now strongly encourage my clients to retain as much green material in their gardens as possible because it makes perfect sense to leave it to break down naturally, feeding and sustaining the environment of resident animals and plants.
