Reviews

Fun 'Underground'-usually.

A fairly conventional bar on the ground floor but the aptly named 'Underground' basement is where it all really happens. This is suitably dack and sleasy. Dont know about the previous reviewers bankruptsy fears, but it was still all there last week. I like the afternnon 'pants' party', which proves more entertaining than work in the office, especially if you don't bother with the cumbersome pants. However last week I went to their Thursday Evening CP night which was quite a bore, even though personally I had some fun. As ever with these places it's the crowd that turns up that matters more than the facilities. Apart from last weekl, I've generally found it pretty good for not a lot of money--provided you don't waste too much cash at the fairly expensive bar.

Good night out!

Venue is on 3 floors. Top floor is a new restaurant which I'm told serves good food. Main floor is a nice cabaret bar, that has drag acts on at weekends. Basement is a club with many different themes. Central Station IS NOT going bankrupt, in fact, the owners have just painted the place and added a restaurant.

Not a palace, but great for a night out!

Closing Down !!!

concerned that i have heard that this venue is on the verge of bankruptcy. i see an advert in the paper saying that they will be closed. What about our new years tickets? will we get a refund?
The venue is ok, they have opened a restaurant, the food was ok ish. nothing to write home about. bog standard with decoration done on the cheap. typical central station. it may be good when they go bust as it will bring fresh blood to bring a new venue.
