Cator Park Pre-School

My daughter went to this nursery/preschool for a few months in late 2021. She was neg lected and bu llied by older children. Because children are of different ages and are kind of mixed in a small space. She was still trau matized by that in such a way that she did not even want to go to school. You can see most children are crying at the time of drop-up, as there is no bond with them, and most of them are attending on an irregular basis. The staff didn't care when we raised the issues and did not even notice her absence for a week when we did not take her any more. After a week, they gave us a call because they had noticed that we hadn't paid.

Our daughter attended this school between 2010 and 2012 and we could not have been happier. She loved it, learned so much and we found the school to be well organised, with a wonderful teaching staff, imaginative, kind, dedicated.

Disappointed with this pre school. My daughter is due to start in the next weeks but I have not been told anything. The management are just plain rude to the point of making me think I was the silly one. Pretty poor for a pre-school and shall have to start thinking of sending her elsewhere.

They do not communicate anything to you nor do they try and find out whether you have the correct information.

I enlisted my child here as I liked the philosophy of learning through doing and playing. The pre-school is in a lovely setting (the park) and the children all looked happy.

However, the admin is awful, for instance our start date was delayed for 4 months due to forms being lost.

Also I do not feel that the staff communicated effectively with parents, with comments being ill-informed and plain offensive at times.

That said, my child did enjoy going to preschool. And I suppose that is what is most important.
