An independent business using traditional methods of craftsmanship with a contemporary twist to make beautifully hand-crafted curtains, roman blinds and cushions.

I will help you make your perfect choice of fabric from my large network of suppliers and work with you to design your ideal bespoke window covering, be that a set of curtains or a roman blind. Should you need poles or a track, roller-blinds or venetian blinds, I can also supply those and arrange an independent fitter for you.

Your curtains and roman blinds will be hand-stitched using the best quality linings and interlinings, with weighted and mitred corners producing a beautifully crafted finish. This means your room will feel warmer and instantly look better! And why not add some piped scatter cushions to finish your look off.

Cathy made us curtains for our living rooms, privacy voiles and four roman blinds for our bedrooms. They are all beautiful, amazing quality, with terrific fittings and fixtures. Excellent bespoke cushions

Cathy was brilliant and made beautiful bespoke bench cushions for one of my clients, I would highly recommend her and plan to work with her again.

Beautiful bespoke blinds

I'm so happy with my new blinds - which all my visitors compliment or ask about. I can't fault the service provided by Cathy van Abbe Soft Furnishings, from the quick reaction to my initial enquiry and explanation of the process and timings (it is bespoke work - handmade to order) as well as patiently guiding me to finally make a fabric selection. I will definitely order more blinds for other rooms. Easiest recommendation ever.

Delighted with the curtain Cathy made for French window

Cathy made a curtain for the French windows of a new extension to my house. She was very thorough and detailed, working out the right solution for the space. I took a long time to decide on the fabric, and Cathy was patient and helpful while I made up my mind. The finished curtain looks lovely, has been beautifully made and I am very pleased with it.

Excellent Repeat Work!

As a repeat customer of Cathy’s I can always rely on her to deliver a fantastic result. She’s recently made and installed some lovely Roman blinds in our bedroom and it feels like a new room! Would highly recommend.
