Castle Dry Cleaners

Tried them for the first time and never going back. Gave one of my precious, pashmina scarf for dry cleaning and they’ve returned it to me in a horrible state. The scarf has shrunk ! and clearly shows it’s been washed due to the edges been wrinkled etc . The lady was clearly not going to agree that they washed it. Instead I was accused that I gave her a washed scarf for dry cleaning (was I hoping they’ll bring it back life ?). Really poor service. If they dry cleaned, I’m sure they don’t know how to dry clean in that case !

I had 4 dresses & 1 pair of trousers, we agreed 2 weeks -when I went in today the lady gave me 3 dresses & trousers & said it had been written down wrong, the trousers incorrectly identified as a dress, so that was all the items. I said no, there was a 4th dress. She looked but kept saying she'd remembered I'd taken one back, which was untrue. She then shrugged and said I had to give her time & she'd phone if she found it. I said no, I wasn't leaving - I could also search, but I wasn't going away because it sounded like she was pretending I never left it there. It was eventually found in a basket and while she did refund it, at no time did she apologise - instead she basically accused me of being unreasonable. It was incredibly stressful. Losing/mislaying is one thing - but if she had said "I'm sorry, let me find it and if I can't of course we will pay the cost of the dress" it would not have been a horrible exp for both of us. It is the way she handled it that made it appalling.

I've used this dry cleaners for years and have always found them to be excellent, friendly and above all extremely professional! The team at Castle Dry Cleaners always go out of there way to make sure that your garments are taken care of and returned in pristine condition!
