Castle Cleaners

Really disappointed in the service I received.

Took an overcoat and 3 nearly new suit jackets in to be dry cleaned this week. The jackets had only been worn once each.

When collected them all 4 items were crammed into one bag creased not pressed and looked like they had a white discolored sheen on them ....like worn out.

They look alot worse than when I took them in and I was getting them cleaned for an event in London which they are now totally unsuitable for.

As I said really disappointed and I definitely would not recommend Castle cleaners if you value your clothes.

Awful service, very annoyed.
Dropped off a two piece suit and a navy woollen blazer.
Went to collect them and was quickly handed them in a bag so I left. When I got home I had a look and the skirt of my suit had a dried on white mark diagonally across the back and the hook for the rear fastening button had all but come off. Then I look at the wooden blazer and the buttons on both sleeves were damaged, they are leather buttons and it says on the interior label to cover them before cleaning but they clearly were have now have areas of lighter colour and are rough and no longer shiny. I called the store and they said I would have to take my stuff back in Forbes it’s to be cleaned again and that they would replace the button but would not refund me. I’m moving house tomorrow so am unable to leave stuff to be fixed. Just avoid this place - a poor job done and poor customer service.

DO NOT TOUCH THIS SHOP. I put the expensive black jacket to be dry cleaned for first time and when I got it back it was totally damaged. There were marks all over the jacket, a lot of colour variations everywhere especially on the sleeveslooks and the color was much lighter. We’ve took the jacket back and all been told this is a cotton jacket and cannot be help with colour and you can complain to the jacket manufacture. I would never use this shop ever again.

Good reliable service, family owned and friendly. Would recommend as they do laundry as pressing which is ideal!
