Castle Cars

Waited 20mins. Called back, was advised driver was sitting outside for a while. No ring back, driver didn't beep, he wasn't outside. I stated there was no ring back. Her response "you didn't give me your number" only taxi company I know, in this day and age, that doesn't have ring back. She could have asked for my number.

I went outside, no driver to be seen. I was advised he was round the back of the house which isn't possible as it's woods and there is no road or any way to get round to the back unless you walk. Cars do not have access.

She then took my number, driver called direct to say he couldn't get into the street and was in 2 different streets. When I noted the street he had to come down in order to get into my street he said in an angry and aggressive tone. "I know where it is, I'll be down the now"

After all that hassle told him not to bother, called him a clown (did use an offensive word beforehand) Don't regret it.

Incompetence of both was unbelievable!!

Drivers will often take longer and more expensive routes to charge extra and say its a shortcut or its to avoid traffic.

Brilliant service

Phoned taxi to be picked up from uddingston veterinary centre, driver arrived and shouted out the name and started reversing out angrily stating that he doesn’t allow pets in his taxi and would send another car for me, now, surely it would be common sense that there would possibly be a pet involved seeing as it was from the vets?! He could have refused the hire from his base controller and saved wasting both our times! The pet was a 6 month old kitten in a cat carrier .. absolutely pathetic !

Were late and when phoned said they had no note of the booking. Not goood enough. Were also late last time. Won’t use again.
