1We are purchased a playstation steering wheel and pedal set (£120) for our son. It was works for only 10 minutes(start burn and smoke) than i called (within 3 hours of the purchase) the store and take it back next day. Then they called me back after 3 days and told me they not able to fix, and when i ask about refound or credit note the store manager tired blame me with different excuses which we both know is not true. They think i let them to rip me off with £120 for 10minutes usage. So im opened a case in a small claim court.
A response has been filed with the courts as this individual has damaged the item themselves by getting it wet and then plugging it in. This was explained as to why a return was not accepted. A flagrant attempt to return an item for a refund through damaging it themselves.
Faulty goods don’t understand basic consumer law
1I purchased a macbook and was assured it was working battery had been checked ect. Also that it had a i7 processor.
Got home its i5 and it doesn’t hold charge the Mac itself tells me the battery needs replacement.
Told the store the same day yet they are refusing me my basic consumer rights and won’t repair replace or refund just keep stating about battery not being included in the warranty! Warranty is for things that go wrong after purchasing not faults that should not have been there when I paid or things I was mis told
